There once was a Clowney playing in Vandy
Whose "Bull Rush" was so nasty it was dandy,
And he said with a grin
As he buckled up his chin,
If the helmet comes off, it's like candy!!!
Here are the Keys to the game:
***The Commodores passing game has the edge on the South Carolina's secondary. Vandy will definitely attempt to move the ball thru the air in an effort to set up their running attack......But Clowney and company should be able to disrupt the connect between QB Carta-Samuels and his favorite target, WR Jordon Matthews, enough to have an impact on Vandy's play calling in the booth!!!
***The Gamecocks on the other hand, have a huge advantage in the running game, and I'm not just talking about Mike Davis!!! I'm talking about Conner Shaw....The Gamecocks must lean on Shaw's ability to pull the ball down and make yards out of a broken pass play. Vandy's secondary is very experienced. Thus, the coverage will be tight and the passing lanes narrow for Shaw to connect. If Shaw tries to force his completions he's going to have a career night in INTs and put his team at a huge disadvanage to win!!!
coaching (Edge goes to Vandy), Home Field (Edge goes to Carolina) and the Kicking game is about even!!!......Gamecocks win but do not cover 35-27!!!
