Well, it looks like South Carolina fans are just putting the finishing touches on the “Golden Calve” they built this week………..Couldn’t help but notice that the statute sure does look like QB Conner Shaw!!! Just in case you haven’t heard or live on the Moon, Conner Shaw (aka Little Lazarus) brought the whole Gamecock team back from death last week in order to secure a win over the Missouri Tigers!!!….With that win Conner Shaw carved his name in the memory of thousands of Gamecock fans!!!!….What he did at Missouri will be legendary and remembered for many years to come….So, what did the Bulldogs do last week worth remembering-------------Well, they beat an SEC team!!!..... Not sure how they played in the second half against Kentucky is worth remembering, might be worth forgetting, but they won!!!.......QB Dak Prescott and WR Jameon Lewis are State’s only offensive weapons. For Miss State to win, these two would both have to have career games on the same day and Conner Shaw and Mike Davis need to have their worst game of the season plus State’s defense would have to limit Carolina to 21 pts or less to get the win….That’s not going to happen this week at William Brice Stadium in Columbia, SC where the Gamecocks have a 14 game winning streak going!!!...........Cocks win but do not cover 31-21!!!
